| Okay, so I guess my not updating has landed me quite a few comments. Phil even took it so far as to say he hates me....sorry Phil, are you over it yet? Anyways, since I last wrote, my dream of going to Cuba has been crushed. I guess only one other guy on campus signed up to go, so it was cancelled. So now, I'm just going to Minneapolis. It's no Cuba, but it's better than sticking around here for the break. I've had a job since November, and I'm finally starting to get halfway comfortable with waitressing. I haven't dumped a tray of water glasses on any of my tables in quite awhile, which is a sign that I've improved. I also just got an apartment downtown. It's being remodeled now, but it'll be done by the time I move in, May 1st. No more depressing dorms with fake wood panel walls. I'm living in a single right now, which is nice, but it feels like I have a bed in someones hallway. The room is tiny. So once I move into this apartment I'll go from 100 sq.ft. to 1000 sqft. I deserve it after living in this place....
Is anybody sticking around for the summer?
| Okay, so I'm a little early on the Christmas colors. We still have 2 holidays before you're even supposed to think about it, but I had some time to kill and there aren't really Thanksgiving colors...
It's been awhile since I've been on here, and I'm guessing anybody who actually read this when I started most likely has given up, that's okay though...
I just got a job last week, but I don't start until November. I am supposed to be a server at Doolittle's, a new restaurant opening in November. I have to memorize all this wine list stuff though, so we'll see how that goes. Will anybody really ask my opinion on a wine anyway? I'm 19, c'mon now!
I dropped going for Architecture this year, kinda miss it, but definetly not the graphics class. I'm doing Construction Management now, which is a lot more geared towards what I want to do for a career. There's also the most incredible ratio of males to females I've ever seen. I'm one of two girls in the class and the rest of the auditorium is guys. It's definetly not the reason I'm in it, but I'm not complaining either...
I'm going to Cuba for Spring Break, which should be fun. I tried to go last year but I didn't have a passport, and the College of Business couldn't wait for me, so I get to go this year. I'm all signed up, now I just have to wait.
Okay, I don't really have that much exciting crap to write, so I'll spare anyone reading this and go to class like I'm supposed to instead of rambling here! Later!
| Hey! I just got an email from somebody at NDSU who read this, and I realized I haven't written since before Christmas. If anyone still reads this thing, let me know, otherwise it's kind of a waste of time. I just got back from WeFest yesterday, yes that's right, WeFest. I wasn't sure what it was gonna be like, but I really had a great time. We only made it to one of the concerts, but it was fun.
I'm really getting excited for school to start. Not that I enjoy homework and that kind of stuff, but there's just more going on during the school year.
Well, not gonna keep writing til I figure out if anybody still even bothers with this site, so let me know. Otherwise see you guys in a few weeks!
| Back again from a really long time of not writing. I had a great thanksgiving, ate way too much, but hell, what is thanksgiving for?! Only one more full week until finals. It's all going so fast. I can't believe it. My family is going on a vacation this year for Christmas. We usually go every year, but because of all the stuff going on last year with the airlines, we decided to stay home. This year we're going to Las Vegas, Disneyland and Los Angeles. Should be a lot of fun, I can't wait to go and get a break from this super cold weather we've been having.
Charlie, you never called me when you were in town! I thought I'd get to see you, you better call me next time you're here! I'm glad to hear that you had a great time though. Where's the skatepark going to be?
Anyways, I don't have English this morning, it was kind of nice to sleep in a little bit. I think I'm gonna read until lunch...
